My workshops are designed to be dynamic, creative and tailored to the needs of each class. I adapt my teaching to the group, creating combinations and choreography that challenge, inspire and develop each dancer. With a strong focus on choreography, street, commercial, performance and jazz funk, my workshops explore movement, musicality, confidence, performance quality and individual expression. I aim to help dancers not only learn choreography, but understand how to develop and make the movement their own. Whether the focus is stage performance, professional development or personal growth, my workshops provide a space to build skills, confidence and creativity while having fun and pushing individual boundaries. Each workshop is shaped around what the class needs; whether that means learning a specific combination, expanding existing skills, developing performance quality, or simply exploring movement in a new way.

My private lessons are completely tailored to you and your individual goals. Whatever you’re looking to improve, develop or prepare for, I will create a focused and personalised session around your needs. Lessons can include confidence building, learning and developing routines, technique and performance development, working on specific areas, audition preparation, competition preparation and more. No matter your age, experience or ability, everyone is welcome. Whether you’re a complete beginner, an experienced dancer, or somewhere in between, get in touch and we can create a lesson that works specifically for you and what you want to achieve. Whether you’re looking to build confidence, refine your performance, prepare for an upcoming opportunity or simply take your dancing to the next level, private lessons offer a focused environment where we can work at your pace and target exactly what you need. Or perhaps you simply want to get back into the groove, rediscover your love for dance and have some fun; I’m here to help. Whatever your reason for dancing, let’s work together to help you feel confident, inspired and ready to move.

My competition training is focused on building and creating strong, engaging team pieces that showcase the dancers and play to their individual strengths. Regardless of the competition circuit, style or level, I work closely with each team to create choreography that is exciting, purposeful and competition-ready. We’ll talk through the process from the beginning: understanding the strengths, personalities, abilities and dynamics of the team, before developing the piece around what will make them stand out. From choreography and formations to musicality, performance quality, transitions and overall presentation, every element is considered to create a well-rounded and cohesive routine. My aim is not only to create a great piece, but to help the team perform it with confidence, connection and intention. We’ll work through the routine together, develop the dancers’ performance quality and refine the details that can take a piece from good to memorable. Whether you’re preparing for your first competition or looking to push an experienced team further, I’m here to help bring your vision to life and create something that represents your dancers at their best.

This is where I can confidently say my expertise really comes to life. I love creating for the stage and bringing ideas, stories and visions to life through movement, performance and production. Whether you’re creating a dance recital, a full-scale production, a convention performance or a one-off stage show, I can help bring the whole vision together. We’ll work through the concept from the very beginning, discussing themes, choreography, staging, costumes, lighting, music and overall production, creating something that feels exciting, cohesive and memorable. I love taking an idea and developing it into something that truly works on stage; making sure every detail contributes to the bigger picture and gives the performers the opportunity to shine. So, whether you have a fully formed vision or simply an idea you want to bring to life, let’s talk, get creative and make it happen.

I absolutely love creating for film. There’s something incredibly exciting about taking even the tiniest idea and bringing it to life in front of the lens. Whether you’re working with a small group, a large company or somewhere in between, I love finding ways to make the concept work and allowing the dancers to shine on camera. Video projects are completely different to stage performances. Rather than thinking about the audience watching from one perspective, we can explore every frame, every detail and every moment of movement, considering how choreography translates through the lens and ultimately into the finished product. Whether it’s an expansion of an existing choreography idea, a freestyle video, a promotional piece, or something more elaborate such as a full dance film sequence, we can develop the idea together. There are no bad ideas; just opportunities to experiment, create and discover what works. I truly love the way a camera can capture the smallest details, expressions and moments that can sometimes be missed on stage, and seeing all of those elements come together in the final edit is one of my favourite parts of the process. Video projects are separate from The A.B. Collective, but there will always be opportunities for dancers and groups to be involved in my collective projects. I’d also love to work directly with dance schools, companies and groups, helping to direct, choreograph and create something that represents you and your dancers. Whatever the idea, big or small, let’s put it in front of the camera and see where we can take it.
